ABN AMRO is seeking a Bankwide Credit Transformation Senior Program Manager (Head of Future Credit Domain (FCD) Office) to oversee change initiatives that are crucial to building a future-proof and robust credit landscape. As a member of the Management Team (MT) of the Product Unit Financing Solutions, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining the strategy of Financing Solutions (FS) and further implementing the bank-wide strategy.

FS is ABN AMRO's Credit Engine, providing clients with the best-suited credit solutions for loans > EUR 1 million and CRE loans. For Program Lending, FS provides back-technology via the grid and anchors client interaction for program lending in P&BB and the credit portfolio management for Program Lending in Corporate Banking (CB). FS offers standardized/customized solutions across sectors and consists of 9 departments.

With 15 different initiatives already underway, you will lead a team of diverse backgrounds to support our license to grow and strengthen our risk management agenda. The Financing Solutions Product Unit works closely with all client segment teams, Credit Portfolio Management, and the Risk and IT departments of ABN AMRO, requiring a leader strong in stakeholder management. 

Our lending journeys, Bank-Assisted Lending and Self-Directed Lending, are supported by six Shared Capabilities, four initiatives on Requirements Settings & Regulatory Compliance, and one initiative on Credit Architecture, Data & Decom Roadmap. More than 500 colleagues are already involved in the Future Credit Domain, and we need a leader capable of creating an open and transparent culture, where individuals can flourish and grow professionally.

In your role as Bankwide Credit Transformation Senior Program Manager (Head of FCD Office) you are responsible for:

  • Active change management of FCD programs and initiatives
  • Establishing a compliant and efficient Credit origination and monitoring process
  • Ensure stability and business continuity in relation to FCD initiatives and ongoing operations
  • Strategic execution planning and prioritization / resource management
  • Oversight and integration between FCD initiative roadmaps and overarching roadmap management
  • Active interdependency management and use case validations 
  • Navigating complex dilemmas across the FCD change initiatives
  • Preparing and organizing periodic FCD and credit-chain executive meetings
  • Supporting the preparation of Cluster QPR and EQPRs
  • Preparing and providing the relevant documentation/ updates on the FCD program to: Regulator, Head of FS and Head of CB, Executive Board (Exbo), Supervisory Board, Regulatory Office, Audit, Subsidiaries/ Branches 
  • Managing senior stakeholders (internal /external) 
  • Creating a flightpath for professional development of FCD Office colleagues
  • Coordinating quality assurance on key deliverables across Initiatives and Themes to enable an integrated approach in realizing strategic ambitions
  • Ensuring consistent use of analytics and tooling (e.g. JIRA) across FCD initiatives, including benefit tracking
  • Designing and implementing FCD-wide communication
  • Supporting a learning culture by sharing relevant insights throughout the organization
  • Aligning communication on business implementation
  • Supporting in capacity and resource management
  • Maintaining overview of the status of regulatory and audit findings

Key relationships
The key relationships of the role include reporting to the Head of Financing Solutions and managing ~10 full-time employees. Additionally, the role interacts with the Executive Board, Supervisory Board, Head of FS and Head of CB, Lending Transformation, Strategic Business Development, Lending Heads and Lending Support Head, Second line risk, IT, Operations, Credit Portfolio Management, subsidiaries and branches, Finance & Risk grids, Business Implementation, Audit, Regulatory Office, and Regulator.

Your profile

General:

  • Academic education level
  • At least ten years of relevant lending experience and (change) program management
  • Understanding of credit risk and regulation
  • Strong execution capability
  • At least five years of managerial experience
  • Experience working in an international organization

Specific:

  • In-depth knowledge of a broad range of lending products
  • In-depth understanding of the credit (origination and monitoring) process, including from a risk management and regulatory perspective
  • Proven experience in change management and stakeholder management
  • Strong leadership skills, inspiring and enabling others around the Why and What of the ABN AMRO purpose and strategy
  • The ability to lead change by communicating explicitly what must change, why changes are necessary, and what desired outcomes will be
  • Mindfulness as a leader, adjusting communication style to different audiences and dealing with ambiguity by setting priorities effectively
  • Continuously striving for innovation in client value propositions and proactively responding to changes within and outside the company
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, engaging in a dialogue, anticipating the impact of words and actions, preparing for possible resistance, and responding in an appropriate way

We offer

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above (Eur. 10.269 - 14.669 pm) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000
